Refund Policy


Email us at returns@modernistdecor.co with any issues within the first 14 days and provide us with pictures if there is something wrong with your product.

If you do not email us prior to returning or shipping the item(s) to our warehouse, we will have to refuse the returned package and it will then have to be shipped back to the customer at their expense.


Need to cancel or change your order? Cancellations or changes ARE accepted on a case by case basis. Due to the majority of our catalog being personalized products, each item is made to order which means upon order receipt, it is sent to our laser machines automatically to cut your piece. Please email us AS SOON AS YOU CAN to see if we can make any order changes for you. We work very hard to ensure every customer is completely satisfied.

Due to the type of volume that we do, that being personalized per order, we are unable to make acceptions that may disrupt our production operations.


If your item is damaged/defected, you have 14 calendar days from the date you received it to report this to us and we will happily refund or exchange it for you.

We own up to providing you with quality & affordability.

Your item must be in the original packaging and your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Due to inspection, cleaning, and repackaging; a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all orders that are returned for a refund. The fee will be applied to the original order. Meaning that you will be refunded 85% of your order total.

Orders that are being exchanged or items being returned/exchanged due to manufacturers defect/shipping damage will not incur this restocking fee.


Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you.

Unclaimed - Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our facility and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to you.

Returned by Customer - It is best that you contact us before returning any products. We do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse.

Customs - custom designed orders are non-refundable due to the time and effort of designing and producing the orders for each individual customer.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.


Email returns@modernistdecor.co FIRST before returning packages with the reason for the return, image of the item(s) you want to return and your order #.

Our customer service representative will assist you in getting a return label to return your shipment to our factory headquarters.

Please keep a copy of your receipt with your return tracking number and immediately send it to returns@modernistdecor.co with your order #.

Your order will be refunded once tracking states DELIVERED

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Products must be returned with its original packaging, tags, and invoice. Otherwise, a refund will not be issued.


Customers are responsible for all shipping charges except for items that are damaged.
Shipping fees, taxes, and handling charges are Non-Refundable.
